ABC announced today that Bachelor in Paradise has been picked up for a sixth season. The reality spin-off series, which features contestants from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette looking for love in a tropical resort setting, has remained a solid summer staple for the network.

The continued success of The Bachelor franchise, which began 17 years ago, has resulted in a number of offshoots. 2010's Bachelor Pad was the first entry to air in the summer months, lasting three seasons before being replaced by Bachelor in Paradise in 2014. And last year The Bachelor Winter Games joined the roster, airing for two short weeks during the Winter Olympics.

No premiere date has been set for Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, though an August premiere appears likely.
