CBS announced today that FBI has been picked up for a third season. The renewal arrives five weeks after the procedural drama's sophomore finale, which aired on March 31 to cap a 19-episode season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The series has remained a strong performer for the network, ranking as one of its most-watched dramas. Its popularity even resulted in a spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted, which premiered earlier this year and was renewed today as well.
From creator Dick Wolf, FBI takes an eye-opening look at the inner-workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, including the combination of skills, intellect, and cutting-edge technology used to keep the city and country safe.
*Drumroll please* #FBICBS and #FBIMostWanted have officially been renewed!
