An action thriller following a former intelligence officer drawn into a mysterious conspiracy.

Another show that I watch that got the ax! I guess I am bad for the shows that I watch! I like Phillip Winchester since he was on Strike Back on Cinemax for 4 seasons. It was a good show; but the crime drama was kind of twisted for the average viewer to follow it!

This shows premise is great, the acting is good, the characters are very memorable, really great combo of action and intrigue. One of the only shows that's not a gonzo serial killer show or syfy that's really good. I mean I love those ideas too but The Player has such an original story line...come on NBC!!!!

Please take a hard look at giving The Player another season. I like very few shows. I follow The Blacklist religiously and The Player was a really good show to watch. I am tired of having really good TV shows cancelled. You ended the series with every thing truncated and unfinished. I would appreciate any positive feedback.

Tired of NBC cutting great shows. The player was exciting but change to a different night. Too much competition on Thursday night.

Really bummed about this. Enjoyed this show very much. Great action, great lead actor. Hate how quickly the networks cancel shows! They don't really give them a chance...
