A fantasy drama following a woman out to avenge the death of her family.
Talon is a Blackblood whose whole village was destroyed by a gang of mercenaries years ago. Now the only remaining member of her race, she travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of civilization looking for her family's killer.
On her way to the outpost, Talon comes to learn that she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must learn to harness in order to save herself and defend the world against a radical religious dictator.

I love fantasy fiction and I would like for it to be brought back permanently on the CW lineup. It appears to take place in the future post-apocolyptic. I have a favorite author who writes books like that, his name is Terry Brooks. The Sword of Shannara takes place in the future after the last wars anyway please bring the Outpost back.

This show is ok. No where as good as The 100. The fighting is so fake. I will watch awhile longer but so far have mixed feelings on this show. Unfortunately this type of show is my favorite which makes me sad that I don’t love it.

This is a FUN show. IT is like a 1980's sword and fantasy film. And I loved those. It's well worth watching for the sword fighting , the main difference is that few 1980's films had a female lead character and this one does. Red Sonja was one of the better ones. But there were others. And films like the arena. We need to support this show because sword and fantasy films or tv shows are very rare and I find this one to be very fast moving and enjoyable. I don't care that snobs may diss it , These type of shows are ALL like this.

This is a really cheesy show. I couldn't even make it past fifteen minutes worth of watching. It's like a bad, fanfiction version of a fantasy show from the late eighties or early nineties, or something that would have come on the old school version of SyFy.
