The cast and crew talk about the show's future at this year's PaleyFest.

The cast of NBC's Parks and Recreation sat down to talk with fans and the press at this year's PaleyFest 2011, and word from the floor is that they are all feeling good about a fourth season of the show.
Some sound bites from the Parks and Rec panel:
- Writer and director Michael Schur on the chances of renewal: "We're extremely optimistic..."
- Star Amy Poehler was quoted as saying, "I think this is the beginning of us being around for a long time."
While there has been no word from the network about a renewal for the show, it has become somewhat of a media darling since its recent third season debuted. It was recently featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine, with the publication calling it "The smartest comedy on TV".
Ratings for Parks and Recreation haven't exactly been stellar, but its relevance in today's pop culture surely won't be overlooked by NBC when they sit down to decide the show's future.
