The comedy has been yanked after five Season 2 episodes.
April 11, 2012
Breaking In's return from cancellation has been cut short. Just five episodes into its second season, Fox has pulled the comedy from its schedule. In its place starting April 24 at 9:30pm, repeats of freshman series New Girl will air.
Word is that Breaking In's remaining episodes will air at a later, yet-to-be-determined date. Still, this scheduling change could be the final nail in the Christian Slater comedy's coffin. Breaking In premiered its first season last April but was met with a similar fate, being cancelled after five episodes. And while Fox eventually decided to give the series another chance, a second revival is not likely in the cards.

It is silly to blame the actors for ruining a show. Mullally wasn't the problem, the character was. I agree the show should have remained focused on jobs. I don't miss Melanie and certainly not Dutch. The romantic tension between Melanie & Cameron was played out. Disagree about Molly. She should have been the new newbie. She had some actual skills (photo memory) and dysfunctional personality traits like the rest of them. Maybe this show will see a new life on TBS or some other network.

I agree with the sentiment that Megan Mullaly should not have been brought in on Breaking In. That was a bitch move by Fox. The show was unique and different, and then it jumped the shark when that annoying wench showed up.
It doesn't surprise me in the least that Fox is killing the show. After shows like Lie to Me, The Good Guys, and Chicago Code got pulled from Fox's schedule, I knew the network didn't give a damn about its fans.

I was quite annoyed when I found out they had cancelled this after the 1st series but to be honest, I couldn't give a rat's a** whether the remaining episodes get shown or not. They should never have changed the format by bringing in Megan Mullaly and her fake british assistant. I'm sure that woman (Megan) is a female Ricky Gervais....i.e. has exactly one character in her repertoire.

Meagan ruined this show and FOX is to blame for hiring such a bad actress. The shows chemistry was perfect as they would go on a job and alot of crazy things went wrong. What was wrong with that? So Fox decides to JUMP THE SHARK and ruin the show.
Well done FOX you continue to talk about how you change tv and change viewers but all you're doing is pushing them away.
I actually slowly stopped watching FOX and thanks to the internet from now on any show that airs on FOX i will just watch it on some tv streaming site.

HERE IS WHERE FOX WENT WRONG... THEY HAD AN ACTOR BY THE NAME OF: TREVOR MOORE" IN THE 1SR SEASON... THIS MAN IS FUNNIER THEN JIM CARRY EVER WAS. YET THE WRITERS UNDER USE HIM AND THEN SOME "EINSTINE" PULLS HIS CHARACTER FOR SEASON 2... IF FOX COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE A MASTER MIND OF COMEDY, LIKE TREVOR, THERE IS VERY LITTLE HOPE FOR FOX'S FUTURE IN THE COMEDY WORLD. I'M EMBARRASSED TO SAY THIS IS THE SAME NETWORK THAT CAME UP WITH MARRIED WITH CHILDREN.... WHERE DID THOSE DECISSION MAKERS GO.... WE NEED THOSE PEOPLE BACK, THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING..!

Why change perfection. The first 7 episodes were awesome, Was excited when they were bringing it back. They changed the show and put Oz as a back seat sort of driver and it sucked. Why bring in Meagan, did they think it was going to help the show? well guess what....It killed it. Thanks who ever made that choice.
