The comedy has been yanked after five Season 2 episodes.
April 11, 2012
Breaking In's return from cancellation has been cut short. Just five episodes into its second season, Fox has pulled the comedy from its schedule. In its place starting April 24 at 9:30pm, repeats of freshman series New Girl will air.
Word is that Breaking In's remaining episodes will air at a later, yet-to-be-determined date. Still, this scheduling change could be the final nail in the Christian Slater comedy's coffin. Breaking In premiered its first season last April but was met with a similar fate, being cancelled after five episodes. And while Fox eventually decided to give the series another chance, a second revival is not likely in the cards.

I recently worked on set and had a blast. The scenes were funny as hell. I'm unsure why its cancelled the episodes are just getting better and better. If you all get to see the rest of the episodes you will agree the show should have been given a little more time.

I worked on the set of this show and Megan was very funny in person and a pleasure to watch work. I'm not sure why scenes that were incredibly funny on set for some reason just didn't feel as funny on film.

When the first season was cancelled, it was a shame - great show full of potential that wasn't even given a chance.
Well, they gave it a second chance and now I'm not so sad to see the back of it. It's turned into just another comedy by numbers show.

I can't believe that they cancelled the show again. It just shows that when FOX gets a smart show that is actually watchable they must get rid of it (ala Terra Nova)

Hey my name is Fox and I have a great way to re-invigorate a show that people campaigned to get back: Change the entire premise of the show, get rid of some of the cast, and add two people who don't fit into the plot! The only breaking in that anyone did was to Fox headquarters to steal their sanity.

God this show was terrible season 1 but I watched anyway. Then in season 2 they got rid of half the cast which was weird. I'm really glad it got cancelled.
Also Party Down was my favorite show and the only thing I've ever liked Mullally in. She didn't ruin it ***hole.

She also ruined Party Down. And should never be on Happy Endings again.

Yes that second tier, annoying voiced, less than funny actress ruined what could have been a good show

She really, really did ruin it. Also, they did not actually 'break in' anywhere this season. All the sudden, it was an 'office comedy'. We've got plenty of those, thanks.

Megan Mullally ruined this show, thank that twat for its now permanent cancellation.
