It is being reported that USA Network has decided against renewing Fairly Legal for a third season, making it the second show cancelled by the network this week. New series Common Law was also axed.
Fairly Legal never fully lived up to its potential on USA. The network attempted to re-tool the show after a lacklustre first season, but the changes were not enough to warrant a season 3 pick-up.

IDEA: A show about the PROGRAMMING MORONS @ USA!!
Your shows are consistently better than network TV. Why follow in their footsteps? Or did some "head honcho" go headhunting and replace USA's staff with network castaways??

CHANGE YOUR MINDS!!!!!! Fairly Legal was one of my favorite shows to watch! I loved the love triangle I loved the new character Ben! I think Fairly Legal deserves a 3rd season!!! I love Sarah Shahi!!!

USA what a bummer I was looking so forward to watching Season3 what a shame to do away with such a good show to watch I will have to look for another channel to tune into.

Im a little surprised because USA usually gives their shows some chance to bloom, however, I suspect another legal based show on the tails of the highly successful Suits might have been too much for the average USA viewer. I did not find this show interesting enough to watch. There is no "gimmic" that makes you want to tune in, like in many other USA shows....like the fake psychic detective, the burned spy, the lawyer practicing law without a degree, the white collar criminal turned informant....nothing about this show spoke to me.
