Gritty, well written, fantastically acted....cancelled. This is why it doesn't pay to watch commercial TV. Take the money you would have spent on supporting TNT's sponsors and put it towards an HBO or Showtime subscription.

I cannot believe that Southland was cancelled! What is wrong with you? This is one of the best shows on TV. Is there a chance you will have a change of heart?

Typical Hollywood BS. This is (was) one of the best shows on TV. It's obvious it's all about $ and not quality.

So painfully typical, quality acting, good writing. Networks wonder why we go looking for quality entertainment elsewhere. Just because you put garbage on doesn't mean we have to watch it. I've gone back to watching classic shows from the past, I REFUSE to watch any of those reality-competition-a look at some nobody's life shows. There has got to be a place where people who want good entertainment and people who produce good shows can come together- George Clooney can't produce all of them!

At least let us know if John died or not.
