It is being reported that Disney Channel has renewed Girl Meets World for a second season. The spin-off of 90's comedy Boy Meets World has so far been performing well in its Friday night time slot since its June premiere, with impressive ratings in key demographics.
Production on Season 2 is expected to kick off later this year, with a premiere sometime in 2015.

Its a shame it got renewed. No way its better than Boy Meets World. Good Luck Charlie and Sam and Cat were a lot better and they should have kept them on.
