Love this show! It shows just what would and does happen when real people, in real life go through what they are going through......"The Affair." I have yet to find any episode boring and can't wait to see the next!

I enjoy this show, my husband..not so much but he does "suffer through it" with me. I agree that it's slow but there is appeal in that to me. It's relaxing, has lovely scenery, just a nice escape from all the busy-ness of life. It is a little hokey at times but when I just want entertainment and am sick of thinking too much this show works.

This is funny news! Only because last weeks episode was the final week for me. I gave the show a chance, nope, sorry, not interested. Granted I love the actors in this, but.. nah.

the show is very slow and only has 20 minutes worth of show and the rest is them humping.

I've been watching it, but only because of the mystery. It is so incredibly slow and I don't look forward to watching it - not even when I see that it's popped up on my DVR list. The main characters aren't likable in even the most basic ways. Hopefully the wife and the husband wise up and dump them - then they can pull a Shania Twain and get together.

I watch this show and do like it...BUT IT IS THE MOST OVERRATED NEW SHOW...EVER!!! PLUS I am starting to fast forward every time it cuts to the interviews with the only black guy on the show...they are getting annoying and they always start with silence, something about the main character having to leave or some crap, and then the black guy ALWAYS SAYS "Just a few more questions"...soooo gosh darn annoying. anyway, good show, FAR FROM GREAT or groundbreaking...glad it got renewed sort of. (You have just read the most honest and best review of the show ever, don't listen to crap like Rolling Stone and all those other reviewers who are paid to say this is the most groundbreaking and original show ever..psh)...oh and I almost forgot about his son pretending to hang him self in the series premier...da heck??? Sorry, Spoiler alert....pretended. . .psh...good show tho

Finally a show I liked that isn't being cancelled. I agree that the action is very slow, but the acting is good and I like that they show his side and her side, and am curious to know why they are being questioned. I just don't know what they will do in season 2. Seems to me this was meant to be a one-season show.

errrr.. meant to say that this is moving WAY too slow and is dropping in my "to watch" list because it seems every episode only progresses the story by 30 minutes rather than days.

Why? It was dead after season 2.
