The crime drama will not return for Season 4.
November 13, 2014
It is being reported that TNT has cancelled Perception after three seasons. The Eric McCormack procedural is the second show the network has axed this week - Franklin & Bash was cancelled on Tuesday.
Though ratings were slightly down in Season 3 compared to Season 2, reasons for Perception's cancellation are unclear. The move could be in part related to TNT's recently-stated desire to transition to edgier programming under new president Kevin Reilly.
Look for the remaining episodes in Perception's third season to air in February 2015.

OMG! I totally agree with the woman above who said this is bull ****! I LOVE Perception. This show was making great strides in the world of mental illness. This show featured new treatments and diagnosis that I'd never heard of before. I love the way Dr. Pierce could spot what was wrong with a potential "Perp" or victim. Plus not since "Monk" had there been a show about someone with a mental/emotional condition CONTRIBUTING to society instead of just leaching off of it. PLEASE, PLEASE put this show back!!!! It used to be on before Risoli and Isles. Please. Vesta Zealthinoff.

Once again this shows a station canceling a good clean program, and leaving the bull**** reality shows on. Don't we have enough reality in real life? Enough all ready with reality. Bring back a show that deals with intellect and get rid of unrealistic reality. This is horrible TNT.

Why is it that if a show is not extremely violent, vulgar or idiotic it gets cancelled? Shows such as 'Longmire', 'Unforgettable' & now Perception, all 3 FANTASTIC shows; just to name a few. What's next, Rizzoli & Isles & Major Crimes? They are not my favorite shows but they are the last decent shows TNT has. It seems like if you aren't into Reality(??-they should be called Unreality!)Shows, or dark Science fiction you are out of luck. It would be great if another network would pick it up.

We all know Kate was kidnapped by that lady who showed up at the wedding. The show is very predictable but entertaining. Typical story...I like a show = canceled

I am very sorry this show was cancelled. My bet is that some no talent with some power personally did not like the show. I also did not like the last show at all. The story line was not consistent with the characters or what they stood for, Finally, the last show was a downer that did not really end. I do not think that I will be watching any new show that TNT has to offer. My bet is they discontinue shows without good reason.

I really wish TNT would reconsider cancelling Perception. I look forward to seeing it after Rizzoli & Isles. I'm very disappointed in TNT's choice of Cancelling the show. Again I ask TNT reconsider and let us enjoy.

Just saw last week's "To Be Continued" episode where Kate leaves Donnie at the altar. If the season finale is a cliffhanger, I'm going to be so ticked. Shows that get cancelled should have the opportunity to write a proper ending!

I am angry that this show is being cancelled; it is terrific - a mystery with good characters that also makes me chuckle. Shame on you, TNT

This is really an original series and I have really enjoyed watching it. Please reconsider the cancellation. I am sick of all the crap that's being forced down our throats by the networks and love these original cable series. I would love to see Perception continue.

I will really miss this show. It seems every show I like bites the dust. One can only hope another network will pick it up. *sigh*
