It is being reported that Mom has been renewed for a third season. The Chuck Lorre comedy was picked up today along with Mike & Molly for the 2015-2016 television season. Currently midway through Season 2, Mom is pulling in series high ratings for the network, where it airs on Thursday nights.

This is SUPPOSED to be a comedy, right??? What with all the death, cancer, religion, and alcoholics anonymous seems they've gotten off on a story line that isn't really conducive to comedy. It's certainly less funny than it used to be. What's next? Burning babies at the stake and trying to pass that off as comedy?

I agree the show is terrible. just follows all the other Chuck Lorre shows, it's like the female version of 2 1/2 Men, nothing but sex and bodypart jokes, and then they try to be all emotional with tragic storylines. honestly I wish he WOULD stop trying, it's like 60-70% of the comedies out there are his shows now, and it's just the same thing over and over.

This show is awful. It has Christine Lahti in it and still manages to be unfunny. I feel the same way about that Mike & Molly garbage. Melissa Mcarthy is hilarious, but that show is not. Chuck Lorre isnt even trying anymore.
