History announced today that Vikings has been renewed for a fourth season. The drama has continued to perform well for the network, with its current season ranking as the #1 cable series on Thursdays in key demographics.
Production on Season 4 of Vikings is set to begin this spring in Ireland. Five new episodes still remain in Season 3, with the season finale scheduled for Thursday, April 23.

Glad to hear although not surprising. Will miss Athelstan in season 4 though. Hopefully Floki will survive until at least then. Looking forward to Rollo's inevitable conquest of Normandy. Go Vikings!

Kind of a no brainer here! lol This show is AMAZING, still even in season 3 I can not believe this show is on The History Channel! I love every aspect of this show and love all the actors too. Even the people you should hate are charismatic enough you almost root for them a little.

I'm glad it got renewed but season 3 has been the worst season. I hope they it back on track next year, cause I do like the show
