The political drama will return this fall.
May 7, 2015
ABC has renewed Scandal for a fifth season. The veteran Shonda Rhimes political thriller continues to be a strong performer for the network, with its viewership numbers in key demographics making it one of ABC's top shows.
Scandal joins nine other ABC dramas that were renewed today for the 2015-2016 season. Resurrection and newcomer Forever were today's drama casualties.

It was nice to see Henry Ian Cusick come back for a brief visit, would be nice to see him lured back into the series. O Pope & Associates needs a dapper gent in their ranks and since it's pretty clear HHarrison ain't coming back and Jake is just not going to be Olivia's underling...

This show is exciting. On the subject about the government the apple doesn't fall that far from the tree. I've always heard that within the government under the C. I. A., there's a group that does what the other agencies such as F. B.i., won't do, the D. E. A., doesn't know about, U. S. Marshals can't touch, N. S. A.has a secret organization that will clear anything for everything to get resolved. This show is right on the money. Yes dramatized for some but right on its track. The part that is less believable is that there will be a biracial couple in The White House. That women can be ruthless like Olivia Pope, most definitely. Just a great show=5âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸â€¼ï¸

Wow. Has it been 5 seasons already? Doesn't seem possible. Still a great show. I had no doubt it would be renewed.
