The drama will end after Season 3.
June 22, 2015
NBC announced today that Hannibal is being canceled after three seasons. The move doesn't come as a complete surprise after Season 3 premiered at series-low ratings earlier this month, only to fall further in the two episodes following.
The network issued a press release with the following statement: “We have been tremendously proud of ‘Hannibal’ over its three seasons. Bryan and his team of writers and producers, as well as our incredible actors, have brought a visual palette of storytelling that has been second to none in all of television — broadcast or cable. We thank Gaumont and everyone involved in the show for their tireless efforts that have made ‘Hannibal’ an incredible experience for audiences around the world.”
It appears as if the network will continue to air Season 3 through its full episode order, which still leaves 10 episodes remaining for fans to enjoy during the summer months.

One of the best shows on TV through the first two seasons, both Hannibal and Will are great characters. Season three hasn't been quite as good, but still better than 90% of shows out there. Hope it gets picked up online.

i can understand why it got cancelled. This season started way to artsy and it dragged to get into great drama. I totally get why.

Perhaps this show is just too smart, cerebral and beautifully filmed to be on network television. Here's hoping Hulu, Amazon or Netflix will pick it up...as long as they can get the rights to bring Clarice Starling in to the picture... Mads Mikkelson deserves and Emmy and/or Golden Globe for his portrayal of Hannibal. Brilliant.

It was just getting weird this season. Overall a good show....but it WAS a prequel and according to the previews for the next episode it is already butting up against material from Red Dragon....
...So no real surprise.

That kind of sucks. It was dark but very intriguing. Oh well :(

So far season three has been my favorite, I've found every single moment of each episode so far IMMENSELY entertaining, even more than the last two seasons, I really hope a cable network picks it up somehow...

I completely lost interest in this show after a while. I tried watching season 3 but it was just confusing and not nearly as engaging. I loved the guy that played Hannibal tho he did a fantastic job.
