It is being reported that Banshee's upcoming fourth season will be its last. While there has been no official word yet from Cinemax on the matter, producers are said to be fully aware of the situation. In turn, they will use the advanced notice to come up with an appropriate conclusion for the series.
Look for Season 4 of Banshee to premiere in early 2016.

Cinemax had to open a time slot for a new transgendered show about kids where they dress both ways and the audience votes for which one they prefer.

Brilliant show....I thought the writing was on the wall when a shortened S04 was announced but still sad to see it go.

Stopped watching series three found it a bit repetitive. Just the usual fare for that type of showw.

This sucks cuz its a great show, but I would rather it end while it is still a great show then run out of content.
A show like this has a limited life span, unfortunately. Not saying this has run its course yet, but it could I'd rather they go out KNOWING they are going out and be able to wrap it all up then have a season 4 and leave it on a cliff hanger and go oh sorry all you are ......

Terrible decision! It's a rare show that compels us to watch it live instead of recording to view later and BANSHEE fits the bill in this category!! A must see of pure action from start to finish with twists that take you from high to low at warp speed!! We're gonna miss it immensely and hope for a change of heart by the network!!

No wonder.. There's probably no cast left after the 4th season.. by that time, everybody got kiled lol. too bad, I will miss it..
