A drama following an ex-con who hides out by posing as a the sheriff of a small town.
Lucas Hood is an enigmatic ex-convict who was recently released from serving a lengthy prison term. Now on the run from gangsters who he betrayed years ago, Lucas arrives in Banshee, Pennsylvania and assumes the identity of their murdered sheriff.

This show was the one of the highlights of great television and forever will prove that a show can have a great cast, great story and conclude as it should

Yes, indeed there is a difference between canceling a show and the show coming to an end. The story had an end and they took it to that end. Ended, not canceled. Some said this show was underrated but I think it was very popular, at least in my circle of friends...and they are many. Great show, great writing, great actors, great production...just all around damn good TV viewing.

Guys you need to chill, this show was not canceled. When first season was airing they were already saying that it will be 4 seasons only. I respect that very much. They told their story and didn't make the story longer with some stupid fillers just because it got popular.

One of my favourite shows, I'm thankful that it's being ended and not cancelled. There's nothing worse than a show that just disappears and leaves you hanging.

I rank Banshee as the best show on TV and now I'm finding out it's being cancelled. That should not be. The time was perfect, and this show is better than Power, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Quantico, and any other show on TV. Why is it being cancelled?

One of the most underrated shows of this decade. I really hate to see it end after season four.
