NBC has announced that Chicago PD has been renewed for a fourth season. The spin-off series was picked up for 2016-2017 along with flagship Chicago Fire, which will be returning for Season 5.
A third entry in the Chicago franchise is on the way as well, with Chicago Med scheduled to premiere next week.

These two shows Fire and PD make nbc i was not surprised by their renewal but i was happy about it.
