The new drama will return for a second season.

NBC announced today that Chicago PD has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama is off to a nice start since its premiere in January, delivering solid ratings in its post-Law & Order: SVU time slot on Wednesday nights.
UPDATE: Season 2 of Chicago PD premieres on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 10:00pm.

Pilot was mediocre. Might check it out on Netflix in a couple of years.
