NBC announced today that Chicago P.D. has been picked up for Season 13. The spin-off series continues to be a strong performer in the network's primetime lineup along with its two franchise mates.
On the air since 2014, Chicago P.D. is the network's fourth longest-running drama currently on the air. The first spin-off of the hit 'Chicago' franchise, the show involves stories of the uniformed police patrol and intelligence unit that pursues the perpetrators of the Windy City's major street offenses. It will reach the 250-episode mark next season.
NBC renewed the entire 'One Chicago' lineup today, ensuring all three shows in the franchise - Med, Fire and P.D. - will be returning for the 2025-2026 television season this fall.

I used to love this show but gave up a couple of seasons ago when it became unwatchable. I prefer stand alone episodes of this genre of TV and this was just dragging storylines on and on.

okay. I like the stand-alone episodes. All the personal stuff seems to slow some episodes down. If these shows were on CBS, they would be gone now. NBC at least does the right thing by it's viewers.
