The mid-season comedy scores a second season.
February 23, 2016
NBC announced today that it has renewed Superstore for Season 2, with the good news coming just a day after the freshman comedy's season finale. Debuting as part of the network's mid-season lineup, Superstore was a breakout performer, drawing healthy ratings over the course of its 11 episodes.
Compared to fellow mid-season newcomer Telenovela, which has yet to receive a Season 2 pickup, Superstore's viewership was roughly 50% higher in the key adults 18-49 demographic.
It is not clear if NBC will be keeping Superstore as a mid-season entry for Season 2, though its episode count will be getting a slight bump up to 13.

Yay!!! This show is hilarious!! Their detailed attention to the "jokes" are spot on. The season finale left it on a great note, it will be interesting to see what happens next.

This show is great and a spiritual successor to "The Office". I'm happy that they're bringing it back.
