The new drama will return for Season 2.

Fox announced today that Lucifer has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama, based on characters from the Vertigo comic series of the same name, has been a solid performer since its mid-season premiere.
Through its first 10 episodes, Lucifer has become the network's 2nd-highest rated new series this season and holds a top 5 spot in the company of all new broadcast series among adults 18-49. The show is currently airing new episodes Monday nights, with Season 1 set to wrap up at the end of the month.
Season 2 of Lucifer will return for the 2016-2017 season, though Fox has not said whether it plans to keep it as a mid-season entry or move it to the fall.

Suck on that protesters. You tried to get it canceled and you failed! How about this if your religion makes you not like it cause you feel it makes light of satan theirs this thing called other channels. Try them out. Stop trying to get a great series cancelled I'm sure theirs something out their that actually needs your attention like 1 in 5 children in America don't know where their next meals is coming from. Go help them.

It's just another run-of-the-mill cops show with a (moronic) twist. Seriously, it's NOTHING new or original.

In the tv show 'supernatural' the devil who is lose on it and causing all kinds of havoc is asked "what will you do if you escape hell? He says' 'go to los angelos and solve crimes' , so we have two shows featuring satan. this one is good but it needs more supernatural things in , monsters attacking and whatever. it's a good show though. the other show has satan being as bad as he wants to be.

Good news, was worried about this one since Tom Ellis was just on a show that got a quick cancellation (Rush) but he dusted himself off and got right back into the game and landed a real winner. Good for him, and good for the rest of the cast.
