No Season 4 for the devilish drama.
May 11, 2018
Days before its third-season finale, Fox has cancelled Lucifer. Star Tom Ellis broke the news this afternoon on his Twitter acccount with a message expressing his sadness to fans. The comics-based drama was a decent performer for the network over a good portion of its time on the air, though ratings were hitting series lows this time around.
The hour-long series follows Lucifer Morningstar, who has retired to Los Angeles from his duties as The Devil to indulge in a more carefree lifestyle. That is, until, he finds a new purpose in life and starts working alongside a homicide detective to solve crime and dispense justice.
Lucifer premiered early in 2016 as a mid-season entry, where it exceeded expectations to become Fox's 2nd-highest rated new series of the season. Its strong showing among viewers and critics prompted the network to shift the show to its regular fall lineup for season 2, but its momentum started slowing when it returned later that year.
The series finale of Lucifer will air on May 14.

Too bad that another good show seems to be the victim of clueless network execs. My daughter and I really enjoyed watching Lucifer.

The show was different and had the best one liners and the actors you could see how much fun they had each and every week. it will be missed still hoping another net work sees the light and takes over the reigns this show still has a way to go yet . when will they get it and stop thinking we like reality shows give kardishans the boot and other stupid show that iv seen snipets of which are dumbing our intelligence down with.

My sister found it reported yesterday that 2 MORE EPISODES OF LUCIFER will be airing on May 28. It stated that they are episodes that were being held over for next season similarly to the four eps they held over last year.
Anyone else hear/read about this? I only get my info from this site so I don't know where she saw it.

Lucifer was my favorite show. In almost ever episode Lucifer was learning a fundamental truth about life. Amenadiel showed hope for every situation. He recognized that he lost his way for a while but got back on track. Mazikeen was becoming human as she shed selfishness and recognized the benefits of friendship. When Amenadiel recognized that what we do here on Earth is all up to us and that we punish ourselves, and Lucifer soon after agreed; those were big spiritual realizations. This show was much more than the devil having a vacation on Earth. It will be missed.

Just watched the final episode. It was really good. I agree that this season was not at as good, but the final episode more than made up for it.
It would be a good pick up for Amazon or Netflix or ... some some company. Sorry Fox, but dumping good shows for the NFL ? Well i guess you've not been reading or watching the news.

It was good, cheeky and full of flair but this season's endless googly-eyed romance between Chloe and Cain was a yawn.
