The sophomore drama ends at Season 2.

NBC has cancelled The Mysteries of Laura after two seasons. The Debra Messing drama was a decent performer for the network, though its older-skewing audience affected its ratings in the key adults 18-49 demographic.
The series began its run in the fall of 2014 with a full 22-episode first season. NBC was more conservative with Season 2, cutting down its episode count to 16. Unfortunately for fans, the series finale in March ended on a bit of a cliffhanger that will now never be resolved.

Omg so truly disappointed to read this show has been cancelled!! I'm so sick of all the crap tv like the Bachelor and other so called reality tv. Good show with a lil bit of everything and it was ok for my kids to be in the room. Please reconsider!! I think every network that cancels a show should have to put out at least one last episode to wrap it up for the viewers.

DUMB MOVE NBC!! So many really stupid shows on and then cancel a great show like this. These guys never even watch the shows. They just go on what the ratings are and never realize that maybe that group of people are idiots. I wonder what junk will replace Mysteries of Laura. I really liked the show.

NBC has canceled so many decent shows. The networks, mostly NBC, cancels shows too fast. I am finding I watch less and less TV. Back to reading books! Dumb move NBC!

This show sucked, it was basically a rip-off of The Closer, with a dumber lead actress.

the rebelion starts. Time for the network mucky mucks TO get fired. DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY GREAT ACTORS PRODUCERS ALL STAFF MEMBERS WHO ARE NOW OUT OF WORK. and WE THE POPLE THAT WATCH THE SHOWS CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

It's a shame, but season 2 was no way as good or funny as season 1

I love this show! The cast had great chemistry an I loved that the lead was a bad ass mom that didn't quite have it all together all the time but pulled it together in the end. Hate when my shows get cancelled and leave me hanging. I give up on NBC, they cancelled all my shows so I have no reason to start any new ones on this network.

Seriously? NBC has been making some pretty ignorant decisions. This show was awesome. Very well written and had alot of drama/comedy/romance all mixed in.
