The CW announced today that Supernatural has been renewed for a 13th season. By far the long-running drama on the network, Supernatural continues to be a consistent performer for the network after 250 episodes and over a decade on the air. The series boasts a dedicated fan base that has helped keep its ratings solid and steady year after year.
Along with Supernatural, The CW also renewed its four other returning fall dramas today. Picked up for 2017-2018 are Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. As for the network's freshman entries, No Tomorrow and Frequency were absent from today's list of renewed shows. They likely will not be returning for a second season, but we won't know for sure until May.

I love supernatural always have and always will. I want Jo and Charlie to come back if they both come back I'll be very happy and I'm sure other fans would be too.

omg ANOTHER season that I have to watch?? aren't they running out of ideas yet? isn't everyone tired? I thought "God's sister" was the most ridiculous story of all time. I can't stop watching because I am head over heels in love with all of the characters! this is my curse. lets wrap it up and go out on a triumphant note. I want tears, I want chills, I want to say "WOW! that was an AWESOME way to end it" I want everything to come full circle and for everything to be tied up in a neat little bow. one spectacular little bow.

It's amazing that after all these years this show is still enjoyable. Some season's/arcs are better than others, but overall they are all good. In my opinion, Supernatural is in a category all its own.

Most shows turn to garbage by the time they hit ten seasons. This one got a little slow but recently hit its second wind. Hopefully they rework their dad into it before they end. I'll watch until it's done or the writing takes a nosedive and I can't stomach it.

Such a great show, really have seen the brothers development from season one. Wasn't expecting a season 13 but I'm happy to see what's next!
