The CW announced today that Supernatural has been renewed for a 13th season. By far the long-running drama on the network, Supernatural continues to be a consistent performer for the network after 250 episodes and over a decade on the air. The series boasts a dedicated fan base that has helped keep its ratings solid and steady year after year.
Along with Supernatural, The CW also renewed its four other returning fall dramas today. Picked up for 2017-2018 are Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. As for the network's freshman entries, No Tomorrow and Frequency were absent from today's list of renewed shows. They likely will not be returning for a second season, but we won't know for sure until May.

Jensen and Jareds portrayal of Dean and Sam is what makes this show amazing. These 2 actor have such remarkable on screen chemistry (and off screen) and their dedication to these characters and the SPN Family is a key reason as to why this show has been going on for over a decade. And I just want to add that the gag reels for this show are hilarious

Ted, its not like the others. Vampires are rare on this show, and when they do appear, they aren't teenage sissy-mary types which has become the norm. Don't judge because it falls in the same genre as other shows. I would suggest watching the first few episodes on Netflix, and if it doesn't hook you, then okay. When the show first came out I refused to give it a chance but when I finally did, I got hooked quick. Just making a suggestion, do what you wish, I just feel your judging it similarly as I did and missing out because of it.
