ABC is rounding out their renewals for 2017-2018 today, with Speechless being their latest freshman entry to score a second season pickup. Premiering as part of the network's regular fall lineup last year, the comedy has fit in nicely among ABC's Wednesday night lineup airing after The Goldbergs at 8:30pm.
Speechless stars Mini Driver as a devoted mother who puts her husband and three kids first, one of whom - her eldest child - has special needs. As she battles injustices, both real and perceived, the family looks for a fresh start after moving into their new home.

Another awful, politically correct show from ABC. Thank God they had the good sense to cancel that foul show " The Real O'Neals.

Decent show, worthy of a second run of ep's, but really? You can't spell Minnie Driver's name properly? She isn't a frickin' golf club!

I love this show. As someone with a disability, I'm glad to see a show that brings some of the important topics about being disabled and puts a light on it for all to see.

I couldn't get through 2 episodes of this because I found the mom so offensive. Maybe it changed later on, but she seemed to only care for her disabled child and showed complete disregard for the others. That she was so willing to fight the world for the one kid but not the others upset me pretty badly. I was told to give it a chance and that it really was funny but I just couldn't do that to myself.
