No Season 3 for the spin-off drama.
May 14, 2017
It is being reported tonight that CBS has cancelled Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders after two seasons. The news comes just days ahead of the show's now-series finale on May 17.
The procedural drama premiered last year, where it was a decent performer as a mid-season entry on Wednesday nights. Season 2 told a different story though, as its ratings slipped low enough not to warrant a pickup for 2017-2018.
Beyond Borders is the second spin-off in the Criminal Minds franchise, and while it fared better than 2011's Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, it still didn't do much to follow in the footsteps of the original series, which was recently renewed for Season 13.

Well, here we go again! CBS is my favorite network (compared to the drivel on ABC, NBC, and Fox), but it is becoming harder and harder to find quality programming. Soon I won't be able to find anything to watch on CBS either. I get no enjoyment from watching the various "reality" programs. Might as well sell the TV or just purchase DVDs! The networks are driving us away.

This is bs you people keep cancelling good tv so idiots can watch reality tv. Criminal minds is my absolute fav show and this came in second for me. I'm so sick of liking a show for it to be cancelled right away. Cvs used to have such high standards now they are going right along with every other network. By the way Gary sinise is amaZing as always. Maybe the reason your ratings are so low is because no one wants to get into a show your going to cancel

What a travesty ! This was such a good show. It provided important insights to travelers. It deserves a continuation.

Another Conservative gets their show cancelled because of pressure from the Liberals. Seems like only low IQ reality shows are retained. No wonder traditional TV is being overtaken by internet content.

Sorry to see this show go.
Maybe it's because CBS is very liberal and Gary Sinise is conservative. All politics. Very sad.

I used to like this show in the beginning. Now it's become too dark, the realistic corpses are beginning to be all too real, the story lines are becoming repetitious and getting weirder by each successive season, and the characters need to move on.

I hate to see this show cancelled. Enjoyed seeing Gary Sinese back on TV. This was a good show. It seems quality show get cancelled and idiotic reality shows get renewed. What low IQ people are you programming for anyway?

This show was great and was clearly only cancelled to make room for pilots. I wish cbs would stop buying too many shows and then has no where to put them.

Seems this is the way- Put together a decent show and then take it away. CBS does lead the other networks in shows that are even worth watching, so it is unfortunate with this decision, hopefully they will replace it with something as good as what they have taken away.

Wow! Take a good Story and a Very Patriotic Actor - Gary Sinise, with a show that does not get political - and S-Can the show! Along with ABC's Last Man Standing performing well. I now see ratings are not important but what these idiots individual agendas are. And they will burn the earth for their own agenda! I have a very mean delete key and my own demographics. Your watching audience is not made up of dumb sheep - fear U.S.! Watching TV is not necessary - it is optional!
