The Dwayne Johnson dramedy will return in 2018.

HBO announced today that Ballers has been renewed for a fourth season. The early pickup comes just three episodes into Season 3 of the dramedy, which is off to its strongest start yet in total viewers.
Ballers stars Dwayne Johnson in his first scripted series lead as an ex-football player turned financial manager for current players in Miami. New episodes are currently airing Sundays at 10:00pm.
Look for Season 4 to premiere in mid-2018.

I'm really not certain what this show is supposed to be.. a comedy? A drama? A mundane uninteresting tale? It's odd because it has moments which are outright funny spaced between stretches of fairly uninteresting posturing. It's not "horrible" or "bad". However, to me, it's like watching golf on TV... spans of slow boring, uninteresting, drives.. peppered with 30 seconds of putting. Not that I watch golf on TV, for this very reasoning.
