The animated comedy will return in 2018.
September 21, 2017
Netflix announced today that BoJack Horseman has been picked up for a fifth season. The news was released through the show's official Twitter account with a short video confirming its return. The pickup comes just two weeks after the release of Season 4, which is currently available for streaming.
The animated comedy follows a washed up 90's sitcom star who has become bitter in the years since his show ended. Hoping to get out of his funk, he plans on making a comeback with a tell-all biography. No information has been revealed regarding a premiere date or episode count for Season 5, though history tells us another 12 episodes in mid-2018 is likely.

@tom have you tried sitting down putting on Bojack and looking at the screen? A lot of the best jokes are visual. Also some of them are audible. Take of the headphones and look at the screen and listen to the words. You will see the humor. If you still find nothing funny than I feel sorry for you. The jokes must just pass over your head.

I like to toke up on occasion... but really.. if watching a show REQUIRES me to turn off my mind to even DETECT a shred of humor.. well... it's not a well-written show. Most things are funny even if you are sober. Smoking a bowl just makes then more funny. I can't find ANY funny in Bojack either way. Sorry.

The Plopster was specifically referring to the "Krill and Grace" poster in one episode of BoJack but I agree the shows you named are pretty bad.

No I meant Krill and DISgrace. If mac watches those shows he will see how low tv "will" get and no longer complain about Bojack.

@Kehelben Not really true. Some shows or movies have stoner humor where its better to watch it in that way (stoner flick). Some shows if you watch it stoned, it lessens the quality. For me, BoJack falls into the "must be high" catagory, and its freakin awesome.

Yes!! Season 4 was amazing. This show just keeps getting better and better. I do understand why some people don't "get it" but I feel sad for them because they're missing out on a show that is both funny and poignant. Meaningful, even. Something you'd never expect from an animated show.

If you need to get high to appreciate a show, it's probably not that good a show…

Tom, honestly, your problem with this is your "all for stupid, bad animation, humor" and this is not. The art is stylized, and the background has more going on than a stupid show has. You are not expecting much from it and missing 1/2 the jokes, or don't get half the jokes. Either way you are missing 1/2 the jokes. Don't expect them to tell you when to laugh.
As for Mac... try watching Will and Grace, 2 broke girls, most cbs comedies, or anything live action on Adult Swim. You ill change you tune on what drivel is.
