Netflix announced today that BoJack Horseman will be coming to an end after its upcoming sixth season, which launches next month. The animated comedy's final 16-episode season will be broken up into two parts, with its final episodes set to drop in January.
The animated comedy has had quite a successful run. Premiering back in 2014 as the streamer's first original animated comedy, the show will air a total of 77 episodes by the time it says good-bye, having amassed a loyal fan base and consistently strong critical praise in each of its seasons along the way.
BoJack Horseman stars Will Arnett as a washed up 90's sitcom star who has become bitter in the years since his show ended. Hoping to get out of his funk, he sets his sights on a comeback but also has to deal with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, his freeloading roommate, and his former sitcom rival.
Part 1 of the sixth and final season of BoJack Horseman premieres on Friday, October 25, while Part 2 will release on Friday, January 31, 2020.
