The animated comedy will return in 2018.
September 21, 2017
Netflix announced today that BoJack Horseman has been picked up for a fifth season. The news was released through the show's official Twitter account with a short video confirming its return. The pickup comes just two weeks after the release of Season 4, which is currently available for streaming.
The animated comedy follows a washed up 90's sitcom star who has become bitter in the years since his show ended. Hoping to get out of his funk, he plans on making a comeback with a tell-all biography. No information has been revealed regarding a premiere date or episode count for Season 5, though history tells us another 12 episodes in mid-2018 is likely.

I agree with Tom. I cannot believe that this stupid crap get picked up season after season. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, it's pointless drivel.

I've tried to watch this show several times - each season I'll try the first 2 or 3 episodes. I'm all for stupid, bad animation, humor. I love many, many, shows in that genre. However, for the life of me I can't find a single shred of humor in Bojack Horseman. Congrats to those who want to see this continue. I find it a complete waste of time.
