Netflix orders more of the animated comedy.
July 22, 2016
Netflix announced today that BoJack Horseman has been renewed for a fourth season. The news came this morning via a short note posted on the show's official Twitter account, coinciding with the premiere of its Season 3 episodes, which are now available for streaming.
No details have been released regarding a premiere date or episode count for Season 4, though if the show sticks to the status quo we can expect another 12 episodes in mid-2017.

If you are having trouble watching the show go to an episode and don't pay attention to the foreground too much. Try to catch every joke in the background, from actors changed to animals (Ethan Hawk) to movies poster, locations, menu boards, so much effort is put into making the background great. Then you might understand the humor and writing style better. If you still don't like it I guess you can just be happy that netflix has some freeform and nickelodeon shows that are more your level.

@Mark try a little weed first, it's one of those shows, most of the humor is stoner-style humor. Spark one up and you will love it. Next weekend I am going to binge season 3 with a couple pipe fulls. I am glad it's continuing next year. I freakin love that horse. In my book he's overtaken Mr. Horse from Ren and Stimpy as best cartoon horse ever.

This is such a great show. It's tough to binge on, as much as I enjoy it (I can't watch more than 3 shows at a time), but there's a good mix of tasteless, lowbrow, and smart humor. The cast, also, is terrific.

I guess someone likes it. I've not made it through season one.
