No Season 2 for the period drama.
January 25, 2018
It is being reported that USA Network has cancelled Damnation after one season. The period drama premiered last fall with a 10-episode run that concluded just last week. The move marks the cable network's first cancellation of 2018.
Set in the 1930s American heartland, the series follows a man disguising himself as a small town preacher as a means of starting a complete insurrection against the status quo. Unbeknownst to him, an industrialist tycoon has hired a professional strikebreaker to stop the uprising at all costs. But what those around them don't know is that these two men share a secret, bloody past.
Reviews of Damnation were mixed from both critics and viewers. Ultimately its ratings reflected that, as the show's modest audience turnout for its premiere episode tapered off significantly during the course of its run.

Damn Damn Damn I was shocked to see this show was axed. I agree it is not worth investing time in shows on the "cable" channels. They have no idea how to support a real TV show, Once again I am very disappointed.

I was really hoping there would be a season 2. Really enjoyed this show. Shame on you for canceling this! Damm!

I so hate to hear that. It seems all the good shows are canceled and then shown on Netflix where viewers love them. These networks have me skeptical to start a new series for fear of cancellation.

Too bad, I thought the show was catching on. USA should have gave it a two initial run season. More publicity would have helped.

Why are networks so stupid? This was a great show. Just means it's not appreciated by some exec

This is the kind of show that should be on History Channel. A drama about a period of America that most people don’t know about or understand. Instead we get Swamp People and other reality show BS.

Great show. Once word got out and people binged watched the first season the ratings for season 2 would have doubled. They should rolled with it one more season. Too bad.
