No Season 3 for the Kaitlin Olson comedy.
May 10, 2018
It is being reported that Fox has canceled The Mick after two seasons. The sad news comes a month following the show's sophomore run, with the last episode on April 3 now acting as its series finale.
This season was The Mick's first on the network's regular fall schedule after starting out as a mid-season entry on New Years Day in 2017. The show wasted no time in putting up strong numbers that resulted in four episodes being added to its freshman run. Its good fortunes didn't last, though, as ratings tapered off during the second-half of Season 1 and further in Season 2.
The Mick stars It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson in her first leading role on network television. She plays Mickey - an overbearing hustler from Rhode Island who is unexpectedly given guardianship of her estranged sister's three high-maintenance children.

Really loved the The Mick & always looked forward to watching it. I guess because its not a medical, cop or talent show, it doesn't have a chance!

I'm pretty bummed about this cancellation. I really loved Alba and Ben. Mickey and Jimmy constantly getting hurt was funny too. It was outrageous, ridiculous, and out there. And it all worked for this show and the characters.

Brooklyn jumped the shark a couple of seasons ago, Last Man was weird & not really funny.... but The Mick was one of the better new shows they had. Take a look at some of the crap they did renew & you will be perplexed by their decisions too!

FOX officially re-branded to FOCKS.
Cancels 3 great shows at once to prove they are serious.
TWATS.
RIP - BRKLYN99, MICK, TLMOE
Forever worth re watching & hope you are resurrected.

This sucks! Fox is such a tired network! Good shows get cancelled while reality TV remains alive and well! I’m surprised Blindspot got renewed, but I’ll take the win wherever I can get em.
