No Season 4 for the devilish drama.
May 11, 2018
Days before its third-season finale, Fox has cancelled Lucifer. Star Tom Ellis broke the news this afternoon on his Twitter acccount with a message expressing his sadness to fans. The comics-based drama was a decent performer for the network over a good portion of its time on the air, though ratings were hitting series lows this time around.
The hour-long series follows Lucifer Morningstar, who has retired to Los Angeles from his duties as The Devil to indulge in a more carefree lifestyle. That is, until, he finds a new purpose in life and starts working alongside a homicide detective to solve crime and dispense justice.
Lucifer premiered early in 2016 as a mid-season entry, where it exceeded expectations to become Fox's 2nd-highest rated new series of the season. Its strong showing among viewers and critics prompted the network to shift the show to its regular fall lineup for season 2, but its momentum started slowing when it returned later that year.
The series finale of Lucifer will air on May 14.

Total BS..... Fox you are a bunch of idiots... This show was funny and good. I hope all the exec's at fox get a major case of the runs and can not find a bathroom that way you can have the same stuff run down your legs as is in your dumb heads.

Well, to be fair, the first two seasons were a lot better as a whole, there were quite a few meh episodes this year, especially early on.
Still, sad to see this one go, could have been back to greatness once they (hopefully) got rid of Pierce, and somehow made Maze bearable again.

I kind of saw this one coming. I don't know what the writers were thinking but season one was great, season two, kinda so-so and this last season was just plain stupid. They had the chance to make this into a really good show but chose to turn Lucifer into a love sick moron who's only trick left was "what is it you really desire?" The detective part of the show was cliche to say the least. Usually within the first 15 minutes I could tell you exactly who committed the crime (just look for the one who acts the most innocent or is a famous guest star). It's really too bad because this could have been the next "Castle" and went on for another 4 or 5 seasons.

Over the past day or so, it seems as though if you're not an animated show on FOX, off ya go! I'm sad to see this show go, as it was a great mix of police procedural and supernatural

I might as well get rid of my tv. They are cancelling all the shows I like and renewing all the shows I hate.
