The Kevin Costner drama will return for Season 2.
July 24, 2018
Just four episodes into its freshman run, Paramount Network has announced that Yellowstone has been picked up for a second season. The good news reflects a solid start to the new drama, which become the cable network's most-watched original scripted series after averaging 2.8 million viewers (live+same day) for its 2-hour premiere.
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, who are owners of a Montana ranch that is the largest of its kind in America. Led by patriarch John, the Duttons constantly contend with attacks from land developers, conflicts with the country's first national park, and tense encounters with a neighboring Indian reservation. But through it all, they relentlessly fight to keep their land in the family.
10 episodes have been ordered for Season 2 of Yellowstone, which will return in 2019.

I'm of two minds about this show. A lot of it is trashy soap opera, but in many ways they get ranching and living in cattle country just right. Cattlemen are under pressures from all sides, and a way of life is about to disappear.

This show was kind of boring until Kelly Reilly took a bath in front of the ranch hands.
Woohoo!

@Mark -- Paramount Network is the re-branded old Spike TV. They dumped the old format and re-launched as Paramount.
I'd be nihilistic if it mattered

Well it's not just "a feel" of Sons of Anarchy.... you can draw DIRECT comparisons. Still.. so far it's okay.
