No Season 2 for the summer drama.

It is being reported that ABC has cancelled Grand Hotel after just one season. The sad news comes less than a month after the drama's freshman finale, which finally provided answers to the ongoing mystery but also left viewers with a cliffhanger that will now never be resolved.
The series followed the family-owned Riviera Grand Hotel in Miami Beach - a five-star establishment that has allowed the owners to enjoy a life of luxury. But as wealthy and beautiful guests come and go from the picture perfect hotel, growing debt, sordid scandals, and shocking secrets keep the owners and staff plenty busy behind the scenes.

ABC does it again. That's why I started to watch and then thought nope, will see if it gets picked up. And of course it did not. ABC means Already Been Canceled so why even bother with any of their new shows??!!

This is why I don't watch any new shows on ABC, I have been burned too many times. Sorry they left off with a cliffhanger but at least you all got a full season unlike some shows that they cancel after a few episodes. ABC=Always Being Canceled.

Really enjoyed this show. Because of that -- it's cancelled. All the shows I seem to enjoy get cancelled. But they'll keep all the reality crap on with no end in sight. Ugh!

The show started out well enough but quickly turned into a telenovela with subpar acting and totally unbelievable story lines. No surprise it was cancelled.

ABC can’t keep a good show on for nothing! I loved the show and it was a perfect Summer Drama! Sad to see it go! Would love if another network picked it up but i know that’s not gonna Happen! F*** You ABC!

Eva Longoria has been the producer behind two shows now that have not made it past the first season. The other one was Telenovela which I thought was a very funny show in 2015. I liked Grand Hotel too. It was a beautiful show to watch in addition to being very interesting. What's up with yet another cancellation?

I'm so disappointed.
It was a fun, easy to watch show.
Why are all these types of shows cancelled ?
Too bad, maybe another network will pick it up and if not, we'll never know who shot Santiago.... :(

This show was fun and entertaining with serious moments and caper-like moments. And had such well cast people. Mayber another network might be interested.
