The new comedy has earned more episodes.

CBS is sticking with The Unicorn. The network today topped up the comedy's freshman order with additional episodes to bring it to a full season's worth. The good news comes four weeks into the comedy's run, which has received generally-positive critical feedback despite not making much noise in the ratings.
The Unicorn follows a father of two who has been dealing with the loss of his wife for the past year. With help from his tight-knit group of friends, he has decided to start dating again and learns that he is a hot commodity with women. His attractiveness, employment status, and track record with commitment make him a "unicorn" and highly sought after.

Not surprised, for a sit-com it is a pretty good show. MoeB please give some examples of non-network tv comedic sit-com shows you watch? There are a few I watch and I've found this one as good as those. Excellent cast.

The comments show me why most people no longer watch the old networks. This apparently is what passes for good to people that watch the network tv shows. To each their own.

Don't see how this plot will mount to a full season.
The whole "he's irresistible to all ladies" grows old pretty quick.

This is a surprisingly good show and I'm glad to hear it's got a full season. It's probably the only new show on this year I actually look forward to watching each week.
How long it will last is another question. Hopefully they can keep it fresh.
