ABC is bringing back Match Game for a fifth season. The network announced today that its summer 'Fun & Games' lineup will be back in its entirety for 2020.
Match Game originally debuted back in 1962, going on to air numerous revivals over the decades that followed. This latest update to Match Game, hosted by Alec Baldwin, premiered in 2016 and has remained a reliable performer in the summer months.
Companion game shows Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid, Card Sharks, Press Your Luck, and To Tell the Truth were also renewed today, keeping ABC's entire game show lineup in tact for next year.

Alec Baldwin's Match Game is our family's weekly treat, the only show we watch together. It's an antidote to the current political regime. We wish it were on every night, and we'd like it even better uncensored, without bleeps, but we can’t have everything.

Great show Alec Baldwin is exceptional as a host. My only complaint is language gets a little (lot), salty. It is not necessary. One of the few reasons I watch network T.V., is the lack of foul language. If they want freedom I'd speech try cable please.

That's great news! Maybe they could have a show featuring some of the living panelists from the 1970's such as Betty White.
