The adventure drama will continue in 2020-2021.

The CW announced today that DC's Legends of Tomorrow has been renewed for a sixth season. The superhero drama, which has continued to be a steady performer for the network, is about to enter Season 5 with its premiere on January 21 following the conclusion of the current Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event on January 14.
Premiering in 2016 as an ensemble series featuring characters spun-off from Arrow and The Flash, the show takes place in the same shared DC Comics universe but with a time travel twist.
The CW renewed all five of its ongoing DC superhero shows today, which means Batwoman, The Flash, Supergirl, and Black Lightning will also be returning for the 2020-2021 television season.

Definitely good news to hear this has been renewed. Yes, it has had it's ups-and-downs; and there are some characters that could be better, but overall it's still great! Still love Mick, and scoring Matt Ryan as Constantine was a true casting coup! Yes, it's a little more "goofy" than the other series' in the "Arrow-verse," but that obviously is the intention. It certainly fills a niche.

This show started out with promise and then spun off into irrelevancy. I stopped watching after the first couple of seasons and then looked in on an episode only to find that that most of the cast had changed.
The problem with time-travel shows is that it's easy to make a mess of the plot. Don't like how something came out? No problem, you can always change the timeline.
It's just a sign of lazy writing.

This makes me happy, but i have to say im a bit surprised. The last season had a few gems, but almost lost me on the whole Nate-land thing. Im hoping to see Zari back after Crisis though - i dont like how they ended it with her.

I hope they get rid of the Mona Wu. She's annoying and does nothing for the show. Nate Heywood needs to go back to being a Legend and not a Time Bureau agent. That change made him boring and enough with his love life! Bring in characters that grab your attention because last season's ending was horrible (really, a musical episode?). I think Rip Hunter needs to come back because the show was more interesting when the storylines involved him.
