The superhero series ends after seven seasons.
April 29, 2022
Word is out that The CW has cancelled DC's Legends of Tomorrow after seven seasons. Co-showrunner Keto Shimizu took to Twitter this evening with the news, expressing her sadness about the cancellation as well as her gratitude towards those who worked on the show.
Premiering in 2016 as an ensemble series featuring characters spun-off from other DC Comics shows on the network, Legends of Tomorrow takes place in the same shared universe but with a time travel twist. The series has had an impressively long run, surpassing the 100-episode milestone during its now-final season.
The cancellation is The CW's second DC-based series to get the ax today. 'Batwoman' was also cancelled by the network after three seasons.

I am both sad and relieved that this show is over, a bit miffed we ended on a cliff hanger.
The quality of the show degraded once they really stared to push the woke agenda in your face. I got to the point I would just fast forward scene to some more related to the plot, except when the whole thing was woke and I'd watch an episode in 10 or 15 minute.
I would have quit watching this season anyway as they did a race swap on Booster Gold. Makes me glad it went out before that nonesense got started.
For Pete's sake, make new characters - stop re-engineering exsiting to for agendas sake.
Still, I'll miss a few of the characters.

I started watching this show years ago with my Dad, and we both noticed that it gradually became worse with each season. Characters would leave that we liked and new ones would come in that offered nothing interesting. We're both dedicated to finishing stuff so we kept watching and in later seasons instead of being in awe at the show, we started to crack jokes about how awful some of the writing is.
They really do try to smear their agenda in your face with the recent seasons. My Dad and I agreed we will watch the last season together, but after that we are going to be reluctant about investing our time into new shows. Half of me is sad because it is the end of something I shared with my Dad, but the other side of me is relieved that I do not have to see CW further rip apart a show that I initially liked.

Should've ended after season 2. Scratch that, Should've ended after the kinda-crossover with Lucifer.

I liked this show at first then they started adding hero’s I never heard of but that was ok too. Then every episode seemed agenda driven & the story was kind of stupid. I found myself doing other stuff when I played it on my dvr. Weeks ago I deleted the unwatched episodes as I knew I was never going to watch.

So sorry to hear this. I really enjoyed the show and it's been my #1 CW show for a long time. I found it very fun to watch. The changing cast just made it all the more enjoyable. Hope they have an ending a some point.

I really enjoy the show, I thought it was a lot of fun. The biggest problem for me, was after the first season, they started getting rid of the original cast. At the end there was only really one person left and that was Caity Lotz. Brandon Routh and all the originals, were gone, and the new characters were just not that good. If they would’ve kept the original cast together longer, I think the show would’ve survived a few more seasons. Too bad

(Ooops agian) I forgot the waverider (not waverunner) was destroyed in the finale. Also if my series final idea doesn't happen, cw could always bring the back for one last cross-over which the negotiation, split up and new occupation ideas could still be used!!!

(Ooops...) CW should do a 2 hour series finale!!! My idea: They go to jail, try to negotiate thier release while trying to ecape, then are released based on the terms of having the waverunner taken from the group (and the time travel machine)!!! Also they are forced to spit up but are allowed to stay in contact with each other(similar to agents of shield) and they all find a new occupation. The end!!!

This one actually surprised me. I think this and the Bat Woman TV show canceling was a wake-up call to all CW shows. If you don't make the rating, we will cancel you. (Walker, Nancy Drew and The Flash are on notice)
