More episodes coming for the superhero ensemble.
November 10, 2016
The CW has added four additional episodes to Season 2 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The superhero series, which features characters spun off from DC Comics shows Arrow and The Flash, will now air a total of 17 episodes in its sophomore season.
Legends of Tomorrow is now one of four series on The CW that the follow heroes from the DC Comics Universe, after Supergirl's move to the network from CBS. The show premiered earlier this year as a mid-season entry, performing well during the winter and spring months. Its solid ratings made a case for The CW to move the series to the fall schedule for 2016-2017, where through its first four weeks has been putting up decent numbers.

I enjoy this show, there doesn't have to be a long game plot, I like the plug in play attributes of this show. And plug in play I mean they can use the Legends to plug into JLA aspects when ever needed. Like the crossover stories of recent. As long as the writing is consistent, and the show remains interesting, and they have bad guys to hand an arse woopin to, I will continue watching it.

Suzanne- The Legend of the Seeker had a plot - compared to Legends which if it has one, I don't know what it is. The Seeker decended to Hell which I thought a touch too weird (so did Xena reach the pit). Maybe our new Legends will go (time travel) to Hell too. I'd like to see them get out of that one (NOT).
In Conviction, I thought the jailbird had been almost always innocent and the show was too predictable, formulaic, and lacking a unique angle - and many of the characters were more profiles of who they were supposed to be rather than showing their actor mettle. Maybe Atwell can be the new lawyer partner (repacing Jessica) in Suits - a role she could fill well.

Steve S. : I love The Legend of the Seeker. Thanks for the reminder. As for Conviction, I was afraid they would have trouble making the ratio of guilty vs. not guilty work. I am concerned about the same issue on Bull. I do really like both shows though. I also hope Hayley Atwell gets another roll. I would definitely check it out.

I liked Rip and Snart too although it took me awhile to appreciate Rip and to appreciate Wentworth's snarky acting. I believe Wentworth will reappear for a little bit but his Prison Break series is coming back real soon. (Purcell's role has been trivial and obviously he's been managing both series.) I would be surprised if Rip did not return, but mainly because there's a hole for him. Since it's 100% cartoon nonsense, anything goes, which is both a benefit and a potential fatal flaw.

I quite like Arthur Darvill and really liked Wentworth Miller. To me Rip was the leader and the only one who should know what was going on. Without him theyre kinda drifting it seems. Snart being gone is breaking up half the team of Rory and Snart, seems weird to me. Dont like what they did with Ray Palmer though. The rest of the group seemed fine to me. Not sure about Steele either yet but hes new so we will see.

I think the cast-clearing sweep has really helped the show alot. I like Arthur Darvill alot, but the character Rip Hunter was about as complex and entertaining as a spoon. Not feeling Steel either at this point. The show REALLY needs to get someone on staff to explain temporal theory to them - a lot of stuff they do does not make sense. Otherwise I am still very hopeful for the show - they are ironing out the issues - hopefully they can do it before the network pulls the plug...

I really hated this show when it came out. I thought almost every character was some of DC's worst characters ever written aside from Rip Hunter and Ray Palmer. I have never liked the Sara Lance character and frankly the actress herself sucks, and making her team leader is almost the last straw for me. Honestly, the only reason I am still watching is Mick Rory. His development from a thug/criminal wannabe to a leadership figure in the series has kept me interested to see where he goes from here.
