The DC Comics drama will return in 2020-2021.
January 7, 2020
The CW announced today that Supergirl has been renewed for a sixth season. Airing on Sunday nights for the past two seasons, the series has continued to draw respectable ratings that place it in the middle of the pack compared to other shows in the network's lineup.
The action drama has been a solid addition to The CW's superhero slate since its move from its original home on CBS after Season 1. On The CW, the show benefits from crossover episodes with other shows from the DC Comics universe, which have proven to give it a significant ratings bump.
All four other ongoing superhero series were also picked up today by The CW. Fans can look forward to more Batwoman, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning in the 2020-2021 television season.

Despite becoming hyper-PC (which is the norm now in younger based television apparently) i still find myself watching it. If nothing else its still a great time killer.

My favorite of the superhero shows. If you do not watch it , those who do don't care. Lol.

I stopped watching when I realized I just look thru this show, pondering other things, checking how much time is left.
