Freeform announced at its TCA presentation today that Grown-ish has been picked up for a fourth season. The early pickup comes just a day after the comedy's Season 3 premiere, which continued its trend of drawing solid ratings for the cable network.

Since its premiere in 2018, the series has been a flagship in Freeform's lineup of originals. Last year it ranked as the top live-action cable comedy in key demographics, and also garners a good amount of critical praise.

A spin-off of ABC's Black-ish, which is currently in its sixth season, Grown-ish follows the family's eldest daughter Zoey, who has headed off to college. Beginning her journey to adulthood will have its ups and downs as she does her best to navigate the messy world of campus life.
