The spin-off comedy earns another early pickup.
January 11, 2023
Freeform announced today that Grown-ish has been picked up for a sixth season. The renewal comes a week before the comedy returns from its mid-season hiatus.
Since its premiere in 2018 the series has been a flagship in the cable network's lineup of originals, ranking as one of the top live-action cable comedies in key demographics.
A spin-off of ABC's 'Black-ish', which concluded its 8-season run last April, Grown-ish follows the family's eldest daughter Zoey, who has headed off to college. Beginning her journey to adulthood has its ups and downs as she does her best to navigate the messy world of campus life.

I was only able to watch a few episodes. Turns out Junior is not that interesting. I miss the old crew. Bring them back and I'll watch.

Hmm interesting. I like this show but I kinda wish it ended with season 4. It just feels like a completely different show right now and I don’t find the new characters interesting
