The spin-off will continue with new showrunners.

Freeform announced today that Grown-ish has been picked up for a fifth season. The renewal comes with three episodes remaining in Season 4, which wraps up on March 24.
Since its premiere in 2018 the series has been a flagship in the cable network's lineup of originals, ranking as one of the top live-action cable comedies in key demographics.
A spin-off of ABC's 'Black-ish', which is currently in its eighth and final season, Grown-ish follows the family's eldest daughter Zoey, who has headed off to college. Beginning her journey to adulthood will have its ups and downs as she does her best to navigate the messy world of campus life.
Season 5 of Grown-ish will see a few changes. Marcus Scribner, who plays Andre Johnson Jr. on 'Black-ish', is moving over to join the cast. Also, producer Zakiyyah Alexande and 'Black-ish' executive producer Courtney Lilly will take over as co-showrunners.

Rick, who is “they” and what was the context of the statement “white people are inherently bad?” No man is an island. Nor is a phrase from an hour long episode.

Glad to see this renewal. The show presents fresh perspectives on today’s social issues through the lens of young adults weaving their way into adulthood. Everything about life from the diverse viewpoints is not political. Good show.

I lost all interest when they made the statement “white people are inherently bad.” in the August 4th episode " Boy with a Gun". If a mostly white show had said " Non white people are inherently bad", the show would have had the life expectancy of a snowball in hell.

This show has become political BS!
