TruTV announced today that Tacoma FD has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes midway through the comedy's sophomore run, which is currently airing new episodes on Thursday nights. The renewal was a given, as the show has been a strong performer for the network.
Set in the rainy city of Tacoma, Washington, the half-hour series follows the crew of a firehall with few fires to tend to, and therefore must find ways to entertain themselves. Whether its crazy competitions, first-responder rivalries, or the random weird emergency call, they are never short on shenanigans.
Look for Season 3 of Tacoma FD in 2021.

In today's turn and churn crap TV shows, this sets itself apart from 95% of the others on TV. If the writers keep it up and, keep it interesting...I think this show will have a long life. If not on TruTv, then especially on a pay service.
"Long live Tacoma FD!"
Plus Hassie Harrison is SMOKIN'!!!
I am so glad I was wrong. This show is so much better than it should have been. Broken Lizard knows how to pull out some wickedly good stuff.
