The Chuck Lorre comedy earns more episodes.
December 21, 2020
CBS announced today that B Positive has been given a back order of five episodes, bringing its full season total to 18. The comedy premiered a month and a half ago as the network's first new show of the 2020-2021 season.
In a television season light on new fare, the series has performed fairly well through its first five episodes. Critical reception has been generally positive while ratings have been decent in its Thursday night time slot.
B Positive stars Thomas Middleditch as Drew, a therapist and recently-divorced dad in need of a kidney. He finds a possible donor in Gina, an unsophisticated woman from his past. Together, they form an unlikely friendship and start a journey that will greatly impact both of their lives.

I was surprised there wasn't snow or colors bars when the first commercial break ended. This show mega-blows!!!

As someone who went through the kidney transplant journey I find myself watching just to see what Hollywood thinks of the dialysis/transplant journey and to see what they get right and wrong. As for the show I don’t really care for shows with a laugh track but it is ok

Chuck Lorre always gets his sitcoms renewed. Dude has been at it since Roseanne, Grace Under Fire, Dharma & Greg and Cybill. He's earned his "renewal" credit so it makes sense for them to give this show more to go on before even thinking about cancelling it.

CBS really needs to have their sitcom license revoked

Started watching this because of Middleditch from SILICON VALLEY; CBS hoping to get more gold from Midas touch of Chuck Lorre; weakest show of the bunch.

Awesome.
For once a show I like doesn't get cancelled.

I really tried to like this show, but it is not funny. CBS has canceled better shows than this.

Nice! Overall, that's a good-ish show, that could become really good if given the chance.
